Mission Possible--August News
Dear Families,
What a wonderful first week of school we’ve had! Our hallways and classrooms were filled with smiling faces, excitement, and the joy of new beginnings. Students have been busy learning school expectations, rules, procedures, and most importantly—making new friends.
This year, our school motto is:
“Mission Possible: Unlocking Our Potential One Goal at a Time.”
As a Leader in Me school, we are committed to helping every student grow into confident, capable leaders. Throughout the year, we will focus on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, setting meaningful goals and working hard to achieve them.
Our Habit of the Month for August is:
Habit 1: Be Proactive
Being proactive means taking responsibility for your actions and choices. It’s about choosing your attitude, being prepared, and doing the right thing—even when no one is watching. We encourage students to be leaders of themselves by thinking ahead, solving problems, and showing initiative.
👉 Ask your student how they’ve been proactive throughout the day!
This is a great way to spark meaningful conversations and reinforce leadership habits at home.
We are so proud of how our students have started the year, and we look forward to a year full of growth, learning, and leadership.
